Project Manager - Proposal Content and Strategy, Marketing

The Proposal Project Manager is responsible for leading a cross-functional team to craft proposals to support potential opportunities throughout the sales/ proposal lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Determine best approach and strategy to convert a particular opportunity and align cross-functional team.
  • Lead development of all necessary materials within an opportunity lifecycle including capabilities/ services presentations, Requests for Information, complex Requests for Proposals, and PowerPoint/ Keynote presentations.   
  • Create and customize agency capabilities presentations to specifically target prospective client needs.
  • Develop the brief articulating key insights and a clear point of view to share with team of specialists assigned to work on proposal.
  • Develop the proposal estimate strategy.
  • Direct and manage quoting process with cross-functional team.
  • Direct and manage development of proposal content with a cross-functional team within an established process.
  • Content development including writing strategic copy for materials that is professional, sophisticated, on-brand and concise.
  • Facilitate all timelines and deliverables related to project management.
  • Lead a methodical process in presentation development to drive efficiency and ensure deadlines are met and pitch team is briefed, aligned and rehearsed.



  • 5+ years related experience
  • Proven project management skills and ability to work against tight deadlines. 
  • Proven ability to define client mandatories and position agency services to best convert an opportunity.
  • Proven track record enabling and partnering with a cross-section of internal team members including (but not limited to) sales, creative, digital, production, and marketing.
  • Proven ability to participate effectively in client presentations.      
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
